About

Farley Printing Company is a family owned and operated business. Established in 1973 by founder Joseph P. Farley, Sr., the company initially focused on publishing and advertising. With the acquisition of Knebels Press in 1977, a concerted effort was made to energize and develop the commercial printing division, while the publishing and advertising activities were phased out.

In 1983, Farley Printing Company negotiated its first collective bargaining agreement with Local 322C of the Wilmington Pressman’s Union, Graphic Communications International Union. That relationship has continued without disruption to the present.

In July of 2008, Farley Printing Company expanded its operation to include two production plants with the acquisition of Dover Litho Printing Company in Dover, DE. This additional capacity allowed the company to continue to better serve its local, regional and national clients.

Today Farley Printing Company operates two shifts in two locations and is certified as a woman owned business by the State of Delaware under the majority ownership of Rosemary P. Farley
